Cody was born and raised in Wasilla, Alaska. He eventually ended up in Minneapolis/ St. Paul where he finished his apprenticeship and started fine-tuning his craft of tattooing. While in Saint Paul he owned a Tattoo and Piercing shop for 7 years until the building was sadly sold. Cody moved out to Bismarck, ND with his son, to be closer to his immediate family in late 2018. Now he lives in Mandan, which he thankfully calls “Home”. Cody started at Doll’s Studios in 2019 and hasn’t looked back. He enjoys doing all styles but specializes in fine-line black and white. Cody Hocking is an ARMY Combat Vet and takes a lot of pride in his work.
